As Executive Assistant, I handled the entire spectrum of executive duties; preparing reports, creating presentations, calendar management, scheduling meetings, vendor management, arranging travel, announcements, document control, business correspondence, proofreading, agendas and minutes, spreadsheets, processed travel expenses and reimbursements, filing, phone etiquette, and screened calls.

BRITISH TELECOM: An assignment as assistant to a Senior Manager, continued for three years, as British Telecom embarked on a major computer automation project, I defined the format of all project-level documentation and trained others in how to use these electronic forms.

ROYAL COURTS OF JUSTICE: An appointment within the legal field in London included the Royal Courts of Justice. Duties included shorthand, dictation, and the transcribing of lengthy documents.

I gained the necessary experience to adapt to any environment across the business spectrum. Multiple assignments with durations of more than a year exemplify my focus on customer service, working on a by-request basis.

AMERICAN EXPRESS: Continuously employed for more than two years with many assignments being personal referrals. Received Employee Recognition awards although the program was intended only for full-time staff.

Received letters of commendation from managers in various groups. Achievements include the automation of a manual invoicing procedure by developing an Excel spreadsheet. Short assignments were extended as I designed and implemented new filing systems for various departments. Additional work included the definition of office procedures, job descriptions, and automated spreadsheet forms for travel and expense.

COUNTY NATWEST: I was placed initially for a short-term assignment. The Senior Vice President extended the contract, and assigned me the job of redefining office policy, procedure, and other administrative functions so that he could manage the group remotely from the United Kingdom.

MERRILL LYNCH HQ: During 19 months of employment, I worked for many different departments on a by-request basis.

The positions below are pertinent because they demonstrate the ability to produce extremely accurate, lengthy, and technically detailed work.

• Major law firms in Manhattan - produced documents requiring precision and accuracy.

• A company that worked for the EPA that produced technical reports as its primary product. I prepared detailed charts, tables, and graphics in documents that exceeded 500 pages to government specifications.
